Hold the frame, hold the feeling
Sometimes one scene sticks with you—so much that it’s the first thing you remember when you think of a show. What if you could capture that feeling, and enjoy it whenever you wanted to?
HOLD VHS mood lights live quietly in bedrooms, on shelves, beside screens—wherever you keep the things that mean something to you.

Real Vintage
HOLD VHS began with three damaged tapes—mouldy spools, cracked cases, missing labels. As a collector, I knew they had no value in the resale market. Most like them end up as non-recyclable waste in landfills. Instead, I saw their potential for reuse. What started as a one-off art project quickly became a bonafide product that celebrates media while exploring the juxtaposition of modern shows on an obsolete format.
